If you've ever played Pacman before, you already have a basic understanding of how Ms. Pacman works. If not, the goal of this game is to guide Ms. Pacman through each level by eating all of the dots on that level. While that may sound simple, the reason it's actually quite challenging is because there are ghosts on each level. When a level begins, these ghosts will leave the middle of the screen and begin chasing you around the screen. As you're trying to eat all of the dots, you also have to avoid coming into contact with any of the ghosts. If one of the ghosts does catch you, you will lose one of your lives.
Fortunately, you are not completely defenseless against the ghosts. In each corner is a larger flashing dot. When you eat one of these dots, the ghosts will all turn dark blue. They will only remain this way for a limited amount of time. However, as long as they are this color, you can actually eat them. This makes it possible for you to increase your score and temporarily clear each ghost you eat off of the screen. Just keep in mind that once you eat a large dot, it won't reappear until you reach the next level. As a result, you have to eat the dots at just the right time. In addition to eating dots, you can also increase your score by eating a piece of fruit. Pieces of fruit will randomly appear on the screen, so you have to try to chase them down before they disappear.
